FAIRFIELD, Calif. (KGO) -- A big rig that caught on fire snarled traffic in Fairfield Monday afternoon.
Sky7 HD was over the scene as fire crews put out hot spots after the truck went up in flames on Interstate 80 near the Travis Boulevard on-ramp.
At one point, this shut down all eastbound lanes of Interstate 80.
The smoke and fumes also prompted evacuations of two nearby businesses.
All lanes have reopened, but the CHP says you can expect delays through the evening. The big rig driver was not injured.
