Facebook follower finds stolen puppy

NAPA, Calif. (KGO) -- Napa police are crediting social media and an alert Facebook follower for helping them find a puppy stolen during a home burglary Thursday morning. The good Samaritan found Bella with two males near Napa High School and she contacted police.

Napa police responded to the school and located the puppy named Bella. She has been reunited with her owner.

Police say a home on Soscol Avenue was broken into between 7:45 am.and 11 a.m. Thursday morning. That's when burglars ransacked the home and stole some items, including the dog.

The two males in possession of the dog have been arrested, but it is unknown at this time if they are connected to the home burglary.
