Fighting California's wildfires got a little tougher on Monday when a fleet of tanker planes was grounded.

Cal Fire provided video of one of its OV-10 Bronco aircrafts. A propeller failed while one of the planes was on the ground in Southern California.

That prompted officials to order safety checks of the 15 planes like it in Cal Fire's fleet.

Those planes are equipped to dump flame retardant.
