SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- Drunk driving might be to blame for a crash in San Jose that sent a Caltrans worker to the hospital.

A Ford Mustang plowed into a street sweeper along southbound 280 around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Highway patrol officers arrested the driver and says he appeared to be drunk.

Three lanes were closed, just as fans headed home from the Sharks game, but reopened around 1 a.m. Wednesday.
