CHP looking for hit-and-run suspects near San Mateo Bridge

FOSTER CITY, Calif. -- The California Highway Patrol is investigating a hit-and-run collision that happened on the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge this morning.

The collision was reported around 5:15 a.m. when a dark Toyota struck a Porsche on westbound state Highway 92 and fled, CHP Officer Eric Anderson said.

The Toyota was found abandoned off of the freeway in Foster City and the CHP is looking for four Hispanic males near the marina and around hotels in the area, Anderson said.

The driver of the Porsche complained of pain from the collision, Anderson said.

No further details were immediately available.
