SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- BART trains are recovering from a major delay this afternoon at San Francisco stations in the San Francisco International Airport, Millbrae, Daly City and East Bay directions because of police activity.

BART reported the delay at 4:17 p.m. and then later tweeted there was a report of a possible kidnapping.

A spokesperson for BART says there was an apparent domestic dispute at Montgomery Station. A father allegedly took a child from a mother and then attempted to board a train. No other details were available.

Trains are recovering although delays are expected.
