SALEM, Oregon -- An Oregon man owes his life to a pizza delivery driver, and to the fact that the man is a well-known regular.

The general manager at a Domino's in Salem noticed 48-year-old Kirk Alexander had not ordered a pizza in more than a week.

One of the delivery drivers went over to his house on Sunday morning to check on him.

He wasn't answering his door or the phone, so the driver called 911.

When police arrived they found Alexander in need of medical attention.

He is now in the hospital in fair condition.

And workers from Domino's have been visiting Alexander, wishing him a speedy recovery.
