Fairfield police find missing man with dementia

FAIRFIELD, Calif. -- Fairfield police have found a man with dementia who had been missing since Sunday night.

Charles Oler walked away from his home on Tulip Drive on Peach Tree Drive in Fairfield around 6 p.m. Sunday, police said.

Oler frequently goes for short walks and returns within an hour, police said.

He has dementia and must take medication daily, police said.
