Fire injures San Francisco firefighter, leads to discovery of pot operation

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A firefighter was injured fighting a one-alarm fire in San Francisco's Bernal Heights neighborhood Friday morning.

A fire dispatcher said they found an illegal marijuana grow operation in the home on Mayflower Street. As many as 100 plants were found in the house and one man was arrested.

The blaze was extinguished by about 4:45 a.m.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
