SAN JOSE (KGO) -- Firefighters have controlled a two-alarm fire at a senior assisted living facility in San Jose.

The blazed happened at the Atria Willow Glen Senior Living administration building. No one lives inside the two story building, but it is surrounded by senior housing and that's why firefighters called a second alarm when they arrived on the scene.

Flames were coming out of the roof, but firefighters were able to get it control pretty quickly and the fire did not spread.

Firefighters don't yet know what caused the fire. They do say eventually, this building will be able to be repaired and put back into use by the senior living facility.

Gaton Drive between Lenn Drive and Meridian Avenue is closed to traffic.
