Fire knocked down at Washington High in Fremont
Firefighters knocked down a fire at Washington High School's science wing. School will be in session today and tomorrow is graduation.

FREMONT, Calif. (KGO) -- Firefighters have knocked down a fire at Washington High School in Fremont.

Smoke was coming from the roof of a building when firefighters got there around 3:30 Wednesday morning.

Officials said a utility closet in the school's science wing caught fire, but they knocked it down quickly.

It's the last week of school at Washington High. School will be in session today and tomorrow is graduation.
