Firefighters battle two-alarm fire in East Oakland Hills

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- Firefighters battled a two-alarm fire in the East Oakland Hills at a home on Alhambra Lane. They say everyone escaped safely from a burning home on Alhambra Lane.

The fire broke out just after 10:00 p.m. Thursday night. The first crews called for extra help moments after they arrived as flames raced through the home. Firefighters focused on keeping the flames from spreading to other homes in the hills.
