SAN JOSE -- The San Jose Police Department is investigating attacks on five men injured Thursday near a high school in East San Jose, two of whom were stabbed at least once and three others beaten, a spokeswoman said.

All five victims were transported to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, police Sgt. Heather Randol said.
