GoFundMe for injured SSFPD officer raises 107K in 4 days
Officials say officer Robbie Chon is showing signs of improvement after being attacked with a skateboard last week.

Ken Chetcuti. "He's able to move some of his extremities. he's able to open his eyes and he's responding."[br /][Ads /][br /]The 12 year veteran of the force, and father of two boys was chasing 28-year-old Luis Alberto Ramos on Grand Avenue on Thanksgiving.[br /][br /]Ramos took off on his skateboard and allegedly hit officer Chon with it, knocking him unconscious.[br /][br /]The suspect's mother tells ABC7 News her son has mental health issues.[br /][br /]Ramos is being held at the South San Francisco County Jail and has been charged with attempted murder.[br /][Ads /][br /]Ramos had been convicted of assault with a deadly weapon before.[br /][br /]A GoFundMe page set up by a fellow officer was set up to help Chon and his family.
