Today's hearing comes one day after the four year anniversary of the last time Sierra LaMar was seen leaving her Morgan Hill home. Sierra lived in Fremont before she moved south.

Last night, friends and family chose to gather at one of her favorite restaurants there.

"Birthdays, going into college, things like that. Everything like that I can see myself getting older I do think about her a lot. She should also be experiencing that. It was taken away from her," said Alex Mejia, Sierra's friend.

Weekly searches for Sierra ended last year, but this Saturday volunteers will go back to an area near Uvas reservoir outside Morgan Hill. They believe it wasn't searched thoroughly the first time around. As for the Antolin Garcia-Torres, his trial is scheduled to start on April 25.
