Home explodes in New Hampshire

NEW HAMPSIRE (KGO) -- A frightening scene played out in New Hampshire, where a house has exploded following reports of a shooting involving a police officer.

Police SWAT teams and firefighters are surrounding the burning house, in the town of Brentwood.

Shots were reportedly fired just before a fire broke out in the home. One police officer was injured and is in serious condition. Neighbors say the resident of the home was a man in his 80's.

There is no word on what caused the explosion.
