SAN MATEO, Calif. (KGO) -- More than a dozen people have been displaced after a three-alarm fire broke out at an apartment complex in San Mateo.

The fire was reported just after 9 p.m. Thursday near La Selva and Los Prados streets. Seven units were burned and five of those units were occupied.

The cause is under investigation and there are no injuries.

There was a fire at this same complex back in May that displaced four residents and left dozens of birds dead.
