MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (KGO) -- Thousands of dollars of stolen jewelry is now back in the hands of its rightful owners.

The process began back in June, when Mountain View police posted photos online of items discovered in the home of burglary suspects.

The loot included watches, rings, necklaces, bracelets, and other high-end jewelry.

"There was nine victims, separate victims, that came forward that were victims of burglaries in their cities, throughout the Bay Area, it's not just in Mountain View, that resulted in the arrests of a total of four subjects," said Sgt. Saul Jaeger.

Suspects in Bay Area jewelry thefts.

The suspects are 20-year-old William Aguirre, his 35-year-old brother Medardo Aguirre, and 44-year-old Miguel Paz.

The fourth suspect, 50-year-old Doris Zepada, was the owner of the home where the jewelry was found.
