Learning more about the 2 officers killed in line of duty

BED-STUY -- Eyewitness News is learning more about the two officers who were killed in the line of duty on Saturday.

Officer Wenjian Liu

Officer Liu was was 32-years-old and a seven-year veteran of the NYPD. Liu just got married two months ago.

Officer Raphael Ramos

Officer Ramos was 40-years-old and a two year veteran of the NYPD. He worked as a school safety agent before fulfilling his dream of being a police officer. He was married and has a 13-year-old son. He just celebrated his birthday on Dec. 12.
