JENNER, Calif. (KGO) -- A 40-year-old man and his 17-year-old daughter are OK after a lifeguard pulled them from pounding waves off Goat Rock State Beach in Jenner.

The National Weather Service had just issued a beach hazard for 12- to 15-foot swells.

A 15-year-old boy got caught in the waves. His dad and sister went in after him. The boy was able to get out on his own.
