LIVERMORE, Calif. (KGO) -- A Livermore golf teacher accused of molesting his students and plotting to kill them from jail pleaded not guilty in court on Tuesday.

Andrew Nisbet, 32, is accused of sexually abusing three students in his car. His alleged victims range from ages 12 to 17.

Our media partner the Contra Costa Times reports Nisbet faces charges that he tried to hire a hitman to kill the victims. The plan fell through when a confidential informant gave Nisbet's letters to a sheriff's deputy in late February.

Nisbet faces 75 felony counts. He is expected back in court for a pretrial hearing on July 9 and remains held without bail at Santa Rita Jail.
