Man arrested on suspicion of annoying female teenagers in Novato

NOVATO, Calif. -- Police announced Friday that they've identified a suspect arrested on suspicion of approaching female students on or near the Novato High School campus in recent weeks.

Stefan Auzans was arrested on suspicion of annoying or molesting a minor.

Police did not provide information about his age or city of residence, saying that the investigation is ongoing and additional details cannot be released at this time.

Officers thanked staff at the Novato Unified School District for their assistance and encouraged the community to remain vigilant.
