Police in suburban Seattle, Washington, are looking for thief who moved into one family's home shortly after they moved out and sold their appliances online.

Ed Saurs, who lives in Puyallup, Washington, said he came to check on the house he had moved out of and planned to sell last Tuesday when he found a man inside.

"He said, 'I'm here for the microwave,' and I said, 'Well, no, you're not. This is my house and I'm not selling anything,'" recalled Saurs. "So I walked around the corner and I saw that my appliances were gone and the cabinets were gone."

Saurs said a neighbor's surveillance camera captured the thief who squatted inside his home and sold his microwave, washer, dryer, and refrigerator online.

"This money is not the issue," he said. "It's the violation, the fact that somebody would come in and take over like that and just blatantly live in my house and have a yard sale right out of my front door."

ABC News was unable to reach the Pierce County Sheriff's Office, whom Saurs said was investigating the incident, for comment.
