Man in serious condition after shooting near San Jose park

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Police are investigating a shooting that injured a man near Emma Prusch Farm Park in San Jose early Thursday morning. The shooting was reported at about 5:50 a.m. near Thackeray Drive and Lido Way.

Police say the victim was shot at least once and taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries, which police say are serious but not life-threatening. The suspect or suspects fled the scene and are still at large.
