A massive manhunt is underway in Ferguson, Missouri Friday for a suspect accused of shooting two police officers.

Police haven't said how many shooters they're looking for or released a description.

Officials say the gunman took aim and shot two officers Wednesday night. One officer was shot through the shoulder and the other in the face.

President Obama shared his reaction on ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" TV show. "Whoever fired those shots shouldn't detract from the issue. They're criminals, they need to be arrested," he said.

Police working to track the gunman down Thursday closed in on a house located just a few blocks from the shooting scene. They questioned three people, but haven't made any arrests.

A small group gathered at a candlelight vigil to pray for the two officers who are now home from the hospital and recovering.
