Mountain View police bust large marijuana grow

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (KGO) -- Mountain View police credit a tip from the community with helping capture three people, suspected of growing marijuana illegally.

Detectives say these three suspects also had illegal weapons in their possession, including a high-powered rifle. Their arrests come after police raided three locations, including two in San Jose on Thursday.

Pictures, provided by Mountain View police, shows some of the $500,000 of illegal pot that officers seized during the raids.
