OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- Oakland city officials are meeting Tuesday to discuss the fate of the Henry J. Kaiser Convention Center.

It's the second meeting to decide whether the arena should be converted to office space or preserved for concerts, conventions and other community activities. A hotel has also been proposed but there is opposition to that plan.

The 114-year-old building has been closed since 2005.
