Oakland police arrest carjacking suspect after standoff

WEST OAKLAND, Calif. -- A carjacking suspect has been arrested in the area of Seventh and Union streets in West Oakland this afternoon, police said.
The suspect was barricaded inside a vehicle but ultimately was taken into custody, according to police.
No further details were immediately available.
