Oakland police arrest suspects accused of kidnapping woman

OAKLAND, Calif. -- Police are investigating a Thursday report of a woman kidnapped in Oakland.

Officers responded at 9:55 p.m. to the 1700 block of 62nd Avenue to investigate the reported kidnapping of a woman and were led to the 2500 block of 75th Avenue, where the woman was safely located, according to Oakland police.

Police said five people have been detained, and the investigation is ongoing.
