Oakland TSA finds dagger hidden inside replica of Eiffel Tower

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- TSA agents in Oakland are being credited with stopping a potentially dangerous situation when they spotted an unusual item that someone tried to get past security.

A TSA spokesperson tweeted out a picture of aa 8-inch dagger hidden inside a replica of the Eiffel Tower.

It was found in the carry-on bag of a 52-year-old woman traveling from Oakland to San Diego. She was interviewed and allowed to continue without the knife.
