WEAVERVILLE, Calif. (KGO) -- Officials have lifted the evacuation orders for 200 people forced out of their homes by a major wildfire in Northern California. The fire near Weaverville in Trinity County is now 60-percent contained.

The fire started on Sunday has burned 580 acres near Highway 299. Its damaged one structure, which is likely a barn or a large outbuilding.

The cause of the fire is still unknown.
