One killed after shooting on Sycamore Drive in Antioch

ANTIOCH, Calif. -- One person was killed in a shooting in Antioch on Friday night, police said.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired and a victim down on the ground in the 2300 block of Sycamore Drive around 9:30 p.m., according to police.

Arriving officers found a male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

No arrests were made and no suspect information was immediately available.
