PETALUMA, Calif. (KGO) -- Petaluma police say they are searching for multiple suspects who broke into a gun store and stole numerous firearms.

Police received a report Saturday at 7:20 a.m. that the Independence Armory on the 500 block of Lakeville Street was burglarized.

According to police, four unknown men had used a vehicle to ram the business, which disabled the building's security system. They then entered the business and stole numerous firearms.

The suspects then fled in what's described as light green 1990s Honda Accord with a primer, or white colored driver's door.

Petaluma police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call police at (707) 781-1225.
