ALAMEDA COUNTY, Calif. (KGO) -- Firefighters have gained control of two brush fires that burned along northbound I-680 in Alameda County.

The largest was a 20-acre fire that threatened homes near Happy Valley Road. CAL FIRE assisted Alameda County firefighters in putting out the flames. Some lanes of I-680 are closed at this time and drivers can expect delays in the area.
