San Mateo police arrest three after burglary suspects crash
Police in San Mateo arrested three people suspected of being involved in a burglary.

SAN MATEO, Calif. (KGO) -- A San Mateo neighborhood is returning to normal after an intense search for a group of burglars.

It started with a break-in at Santiago Street and East 38th Avenue near Hillsdale mall and it ended when the suspects crashed their car near the Kehoe Avenue off ramp on Highway 101. After that crash, the suspects took off running.

The police got a tip the group had burglarized a vacant home several miles away and spotted their car leaving the area. A chase started down Highway 101, but the suspects' Nissan crashed at Kehoe Avenue.
