Berkeley police ask public for help after 2 teens shot

BERKELEY, Calif. (KGO) -- Berkeley police are asking for help from the public after a shooting at a hotel Saturday night.

Two teenage boys were shot at the La Quinta Inn at 920 University Avenue just before 11 p.m.

One victim was reportedly shot in the leg, the other in the face.

They were taken to the hospital and are expected to be okay.

Police believe the shooter drove east on University in a white sedan.

Detectives are asking anyone who saw what happened or know who the shooter is to contact Berkeley police at (510) 981-5900.
