BERKELEY, Calif. (KGO) -- Police are investigating a brazen armed robbery and kidnapping that happened at a popular overlook in the Berkeley hills.
A 23-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman were sitting in their car early Thursday morning along Grizzly Peak Boulevard when they were held up at gunpoint.
The suspect jumped into the couple's car and ordered them to drive to a nearby ATM to withdraw money.
Two other men followed in a separate car, described as a red, 4-door "square-type" vehicle.
All three suspects got away with an unspecified amount of cash.
