Police search for man who attacked jogger in Sonoma

SONOMA, Calif. (KGO) -- Police are searching for a man accused of attacking and attempting to rape a jogger in the North Bay.

The Sonoma County Sheriff's office says it happened Sunday afternoon near Norrbom Road and the Sonoma Overlook Trail.

The jogger told police a man pushed her down, punched her several times and tried to rape her but she fought him off.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 50s with a white, bushy beard.
