BELLEVUE, OH -- An Ohio woman faces multiple charges after police say she was caught stealing from homes under the guise of having the use the restroom.

Police in Bellevue, Ohio say they arrested Brandy Bean after a short foot chase. She faces felony charges of burglary and theft.

Police say Bean would knock on doors of homes. When someone answered, she would ask to use the telephone and the restroom.

Bean would then ask for a drink of water. When the resident walked out of the room, police say she would begin stealing what she could grab before then leaving the house.

Bean also faces felony forgery charges from a separate investigation.
