SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A former San Francisco firefighter, charged with felony DUI, after colliding with a motorcyclist last June surrendered to authorities on Monday.

ABC7 News was the first to report that 43-year-old Michael Quinn was indicted last week by a grand jury on three felony counts related to the accident.

Surveillance video shows a fire truck, driven by Quinn, running through a red light, hitting a motorcyclist, who suffered multiple broken bones.

Prosecutors say Quinn's blood alcohol level was .13 hours after the accident took place.

Quinn is free on a $100,000 bond and is expected in court later this week.
