SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- San Francisco paid tribute Sunday to three men who died when a co-worker entered a UPS building and opened fire last month.

The Glide Memorial Church ensemble performed a song to honor the lives of three ups workers, Wayne Chan, Mike Lefiti, and Benson Louie. Their family and friends knew them by other names.

Mayor Ed Lee offered the victim's families his condolences. "We will do everything to help you recover from the tragedy. But first, we honor them today," Lee said.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said gun violence must end. "A loss like this - so unexpected, gun violence leaves a trauma behind," Pelosi said.

"Big Mike" Lefiti's cousin, Mack Toia says his family is just trying to cope with the loss of a man who was bigger than life.

"It's one day at a time. We just miss him, love him," Toia said.

The teamsters and ups family are standing as one.

"Not only will we stand with you today, but always be there," Ken Hall with the Teamsters International said.
