San Jose firefighters investigate blaze at school
San Jose firefighters are investigating a two-alarm fire that burned at a school this morning.

SAN JOSE -- Firefighters quickly put out a two-alarm fire at a San Jose middle school this morning, a fire captain said.

Crews responded to a report of a fire at Davis Intermediate School at 5035 Edenview Drive around 5:30 a.m., fire Capt. Reggie Williams said.

Fire crews arrived to find the fire burning in the attic space of a multi-purpose room, Williams said.

Firefighters were able to isolate the blaze to the attic and knocked down the fire shortly before 6 a.m., he said.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
