Sarah Palin isn't driven away by her haters. She's motivated by them.

In an interview on Tuesday with Fox Business Network, the former Alaska governor and vice presidential nominee said that "those haters out there" have not driven her away from politics.

"It wants me to get out there and defend the innocent," Palin told Fox's Stuart Varney. "The more they're pouring on the more I'm going to bug the crap out of them by being out there with a voice, with the message, hopefully running for office in the future too."

Palin also responded to Carol Costello's recent comments about her daughter Bristol.

The CNN anchor played police audio recording from the Palin family's drunken brawl at a house party, where Bristol allegedly punched a man. Costello introduced the recording, in which Bristol sounds very upset, as "the best minute and a half of audio we've ever come across."

The former governor acknowledged that the Palins, like every family, have challenges, but also put blame on the media for being biased.

"They do want to destroy personally those they disagree with. ... They want to crush us," Palin said.
