CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. (KGO) -- A school bus slammed into a house in Clayton County, Georgia, and it was caught on video.

The driver had just dropped off students at a volleyball game when a red car crossed the center line in front of the bus.

The bus driver couldn't stop the bus from plowing right into the home. The force of the crash knocked a woman inside that house off her couch.

"I landed about here and that picture from landed there. I thought it was an explosion and we got the aftershock," Barbara Essinger said.

"It could have been easily a much worse incident. It looked like all the bus driver could do was hold onto the steering wheel and just try to maintain as much control as she could," Clayton County School's Vicki Constantinidis said.

The house sustained major damage. Homeowners said the driver only had two choices -- go over into a park full of kids or hit the house.

Luckily, no one was injured.
