LONG BEACH, Calif. -- A search continued Sunday for an infant who went missing from a Long Beach home where her parents and uncle were injured in a shooting.
Authorities responded to a home on the 100 block of West 51st Street just before 6 p.m. Saturday and found the infant's mother, father and uncle suffering from gunshot wounds.
Detectives believe an adult male suspect may have taken 3-week-old Eliza Delacruz and fled. The relationship between the suspect and victims is unknown. The motive was still under investigation.
The mother and one of the male victims remain in critical but stable condition at the hospital. The third victim has been released.
Police are asking that the baby be returned to a safe location.
