SFPD make two arrests in fatal shooting in SOMA

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- The San Francisco Police Department have arrested two suspects in connection with one of two shootings that occurred in the South of Market neighborhood Tuesday.

Police say they arrested 34-year-old Darius York and 33-year-old Joseph Young, both of San Francisco. They were arrested in Fremont on murder and conspiracy charges. The victim has been identified as 19-year-old Daniel Beltran who was found shot at 6th Street and Minna Alley at 5:11 a.m. Tuesday.

A 25-year-old man, who police have identified as Marc-Anthony Salumbides of Pacifica was also killed in a shooting in San Francisco's South of Market neighborhood on Tuesday night.

That shooting was reported at Sixth and Mission streets around 11:05 p.m. Police have not identified a suspect in that shooting.
