Student with DWI arrest has new ride: Barbie Jeep

SAN MARCOS, Texas -- A 20-year-old college student in Texas didn't let a DWI arrest stop her from driving around town. And now her choice on a new means of transportation has gone viral.

Her license was suspended, but she is still getting around on four wheels.

Tara Monroe, a junior at Texas State University, has been spotted around campus in a Barbie Jeep, forgoing a bicycle or public transit.

After her run-in with the law, Monroe took to Craigslist and bought the 12-volt battery car for $60.

Monroe told a San Antonio newspaper this is the best way she could have gotten her 15 minutes of fame -- saying it's her best decision in college so far.

Monroe turns 21 and can legally drink in November.
