Gunman sought in execution-style shooting of fisherman in NE Houston
HOUSTON -- One person is dead and two others lucky to be alive after an execution-style killing in northeast Houston.
The suspect killed a 39-year-old, but his gun jammed when he tried to kill a 9-year-old boy and a 19-year- old man.

It happened along Halls Bayou as three people were fishing.
The suspect came out of the woods, made the victims get on their knees and then started shooting, according to the victim's mother.
"They say he came out the woods on my son and make them bow down on their knees," Sheila Yates Wilson says. "The gun got jammed on the little boy but it did not get jammed on my son."
Wilson says her 39-year-old son, Michael Wilson, was fishing with his 19- and 9-year-old cousins when he gunned down by a man execution-style.
The suspect approached the group and started to talking to the 19-year-old about having graduated from the same high school.
But the conversation turned violent when the suspect ordered all three, including the 9-year-old boy, to their knees.
The suspect opened fire, killing Michael Wilson but when he turned the gun on the 19-year-old, it jammed.
"When he realized the gun was jammed, he got up and started running and my suspect continued chasing him until he started coming up this hill," HPD's Latonia Bailey says. "and then the suspect turned around and went the way he came, down the bayou."
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, between 18 and 20 years old, having a slim build, long hair in a ponytail and no tattoos.
Wilson, the mother of the victim, says her son was a good son who went to work and loved to go fishing.
Surrounded by the victim's family, including several young nieces and nephews, she asked for the public's help finding his killer.
"Justice needs to be done, because it's a senseless murder," Wilson says. "My son is laying down dead behind something that he was not doing. Fishing, just fishing, and then a child was involved in it too? That's wrong."
