'The Shield' Actor Booked for Murder in Wife's Shooting Death

Actor Michael Jace has been booked for murder following the fatal shooting of his wife April, Los Angeles police told ABC News.

The shooting happened at 8:30 p.m. local time in the city's Hyde Park neighborhood.

Michael and April Jace were married for nine years. The shooting remains under investigation.

Jace, 48, is best known for his role as officer Julien Lowe in "The Shield." He also appeared in "Forrest Gump" and the TV movie "Michael Jordan: An American Hero."
