Thieves steal Easter eggs, decoration from Chula Vista yard

CHULA VISTA, Calif. -- A Chula Vista boy's first Easter egg hunt was ruined when thieves swooped in and stole all the eggs.

Surveillance cameras caught another family picking up the eggs Janet and Michael Ford put outside for their son, Gabriel.

The family placed the eggs in their yard, and then went to church. By the time they returned, all the eggs were gone.

Later that night, the Fords' camera caught the same people again - cutting their Easter decorations out of the trees.

The family hopes someone will recognize the people and turn them in to police.
